Sri Balaji Junior College

You can find Sri Balaji Junior College on the 2nd floor of Mayuri Mall. We are right on the Main Road in Kishanpura, which is in Warangal. Being in a mall is a bit different for a college, but it works for us. The students use the stairs or the lift to get up here for their daily lectures. Since we are on the main road, it’s always noisy with buses and autos going past, but the classrooms are tucked away enough that it’s okay for studying. We have been operating out of this floor for several years now. The office is usually full of registers and old exam papers. We don’t have a big campus with trees, just the hallways of the mall and our dedicated rooms. During the breaks, students often go downstairs to grab something to eat from the local vendors nearby. It’s a very practical setup for a junior college in a city like Warangal. We focus on getting the daily lessons done and making sure the attendance is marked. The staff knows most of the families in the Kishanpura area since a lot of our students come from just a few streets away. It’s a straightforward place to get an education without any of the extra bells and whistles you might find in bigger, more expensive institutions in the larger cities. We just keep our heads down and get through the syllabus every year with the local kids.
