Srinu Broken Rice

Srinu Broken Rice is located right in Nekkonda, at 3-9-87. We are directly opposite the Market Yard, which means it gets incredibly busy around here on market days. There are trucks everywhere and people shouting prices and laborers carrying heavy sacks on their backs. It’s a very lively atmosphere, though it can be a bit much if you aren't used to the noise and the dust. We deal specifically with broken rice, so we have piles of it in the warehouse. We spend a lot of time bagging it up and loading it onto carts or small vans. The heat in Nekkonda can be quite intense, especially in the middle of the day, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning. We don't have an office with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have a small space with a table where we talk to the buyers. It’s a very simple operation. We’ve been across from the market yard for years, so we’ve seen all the ups and downs of the local trade. We don't use any big marketing words to describe ourselves. We are just here doing our job, selling rice and making sure we can pay our bills at the end of the month. It’s a rough and tumble business but it’s ours. We usually end the day covered in rice dust, but that’s just how things go when you work in the market yard area.
