Shiv Roller Flour Mill

Our mill is out on Narsampet Road at Plot No.D.No.547, right near the old cotton mill in Sdhampally. You can usually hear the machines running from a bit away. It is a bit of a dusty environment, which is expected when you are working with grain all day long. We started Shiv Roller Flour Mill because there was a need for it here in Dharmavaram. It is not a glamorous job, but it is necessary. Every morning starts with checking the rollers and making sure everything is greased up. We deal with farmers and local sellers mostly. The yard gets busy with carts and trucks coming in to drop off loads. Sometimes the heat gets to you, especially in the summer months, but the work does not stop. We do not have a big office or anything, just a small space to keep the records. Most of the time we are out on the floor watching the bags get filled. The equipment is old but it works fine if you treat it right. People know the way here, even if the road gets a bit bumpy after the rain. We do not use big words to describe what we do. It is just milling grain and making sure the quality is what it should be. It is honest work that keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We just focus on the machinery and getting the flour packed up for whoever needs it that day.
