Rama Welding Works

Rama Welding Works is a small metal shop located at H. No -2-94 in Chennapur, Regonda. If you walk by, you will probably see sparks flying or hear the sound of metal being cut. We have been in the Warangal district for quite some time now. Most of our work involves welding gates, window grills, or fixing farm equipment that has snapped. It's a lot of heavy lifting and working with fire. The shop is quite simple and has all the marks of a place where hard work happens every day. We don't have air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just us and the welding torches. People from all over Chennapur bring their broken iron items to us. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the torch. Sometimes the work is very detailed and takes a lot of patience to get it right. Other times it's just about making a strong join so something doesn't fall apart on the farm. We use a lot of rods and gas. The floor is usually covered in little bits of metal and dust. We don't really bother with a big sign because everyone in the village knows where we are. It’s a busy life but we like working with our hands and seeing the finished product. We stay open as long as there is work to do. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to talk while we work.
