I started this shop here in Gorrekunta a while back because there was a need for it in the village. It is right at H.No:-5-51, which most people around Geesugonda know. Every morning I pull up the shutters and get the machines ready. There is always a lot of dust and sparks flying around. Mostly, we work on iron gates and window grills. Sometimes a farmer brings in a broken plow or something from his tractor that needs a quick weld so he can get back to the field. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and drink a lot of water. The noise of the grinding machine is something you just get used to after a while. My neighbors don't seem to mind it too much since they know we are just doing our work. We try to keep things organized but with all the scrap metal laying around, it gets a bit messy by the end of the day. I usually spend some time in the evening just sweeping up the iron bits and putting tools back where they belong. People come by to talk about their orders or just to see how things are going. It’s a simple life here in Warangal, and we just focus on getting the joints strong so things don't break. I’ve been at this for years now and the routine stays pretty much the same every single day.
