Pakala Farmers Producer Company Limited is over in Narsampet at H. No: 1-195 in Muthojipet. We are out in the Warangal district and it’s a very rural area where everyone is involved in agriculture in some way. We started this producer company because it’s getting harder to be a small farmer these days. By joining together, we can actually have a say in how things are done. Our office is just a regular building in the village where we keep our tools and our paperwork. There isn't anything fancy about it, and we definitely don't have any corporate bosses telling us what to do. It’s just us farmers making the decisions. We spend a lot of time worrying about the monsoon and the price of fertilizer. Some days we are very busy and other days it’s quiet enough to just sit and have a tea. We don't use any marketing tricks or big words to explain ourselves. We are just people from Muthojipet who know how to grow things and want to make sure we get a fair deal for our hard work. It’s a real community effort and we like it that way.
