About Om Lakshmi Fly Ash Bricks – Building & Construction Material in Warangal
The yard we run is at Dr.No. 4-12/3 in the Anand Nagar area of Bheemaram. It’s a busy spot in Hanamkonda and we have been operating out of this site for quite some time now. Working with fly ash bricks is a messy business, but it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. The machines make a lot of noise throughout the day, and the neighbors have mostly gotten used to the constant hum. We have a small yard where we stack everything in tall piles. When it rains, the ground gets a bit soft and moving the heavy loads becomes a real challenge for the trucks. We just have to wait for it to dry out sometimes before we can get the wheels moving again. Folks from around Hanamkonda stop by often to look at the bricks. They usually want to see how they feel compared to the old red clay ones they are used to seeing. It’s mostly just a few of us here every morning getting things ready for the day. The Hanamkonda heat is no joke, especially in the middle of summer, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting finished before noon hits. Our office is nothing more than a tiny room near the front gate with a couple of chairs and a desk covered in papers. It’s a simple life and the work is hard on the hands, but there is a rhythm to it that we like. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just sit around and talk until the machines can start again.
