Chinni Pindi Girni

This is Chinni Pindi Girni and you can find us at H. No:-6-60 in Ramapur Thanda. We are located near Surepally in the Chennaraopet area of Warangal. Since this is a flour mill, the air inside is usually very dusty and it gets quite loud once the machines are turned on. I spend my whole day grinding different types of grain for the families who live nearby. People bring their own bags of wheat, maize, or dried chillies, and I process them into powder. The smell of the fresh flour is something I have grown very used to over the years. I have been running this mill for a long time and it takes a lot of work to keep the motor running smoothly. The building is quite small, with just enough space for the grinding machine and the stacks of grain bags waiting to be processed. Ramapur Thanda is a small community, so I recognize every single person who walks through the door. I do not have any employees helping me out, though sometimes a relative will come by to assist with the heavy lifting. We open up the mill very early in the morning because that is when most people want to get their grinding done. It is a very noisy job and I often have to shout to be heard over the roar of the engine. It is a necessary service for our village and I am glad to be doing it.
