If you’re walking through Kadipikonda in Kazipet, you’ll find us right at H.No: 1-1. Vishwashanthi High School is a place that feels like part of the neighborhood because it basically is. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit around here, but the school stays pretty much the same. The morning routine starts early with the sound of cycles and scooters dropping kids off at the front. Our classrooms are simple, nothing too flashy, just rows of benches and walls covered in charts the kids made themselves. It gets pretty loud during lunch when everyone is sharing their dabbas under the shade. The teachers here are mostly locals who have been teaching for years, so they’ve seen siblings and even cousins come through the same doors. Sometimes the fans make a bit of a clicking noise, but you get used to it after a while. We have a small yard where the students gather for the morning line-up. It’s mostly just about getting the work done and making sure everyone is safe and learning their lessons. People in Warangal know us as a regular school where kids come to study and play without too much fuss. We don’t have those big glass buildings, just solid walls and a lot of history in this part of town. It’s a bit of a squeeze when everyone is in the hallway at once, but we manage to get through the day okay.
