Akshara Sree Public School

Akshara Sree Public School is at 1-1-84 in Chaithanyapuri Colony. We’re right in the Kazipet area of Warangal, which is a fairly quiet residential neighborhood. The school fits right in with the houses around it. It’s not one of those massive institutions with a thousand students. We’re smaller, which means we actually know the kids who come through the door every morning. The building is a simple two-story structure with a few trees near the entrance. We have a small playground, but it gets pretty crowded during the break times. The teachers here are mostly locals who have been with us for a few years. We don't use any fancy teaching gadgets; it's mostly just chalkboards and textbooks. Sometimes the kids get a bit rowdy in the hallways, but we keep an eye on things. Kazipet is a busy place because of the railway, but our little corner in Chaithanyapuri Colony stays relatively calm. We don't have a big mission statement or any of that stuff. We just try to make sure the children learn their math and science and behave themselves. Most parents live within walking distance, so there’s a lot of chatting at the gate when school lets out. It’s just a neighborhood school that’s been doing the same thing for a while now. We like it that way because it feels like a community. It's a simple place where we get the job done every day.
