Sri Vijaya Visakha Milk Producers Co., Ltd.

We have been here at the dairy across from BHPV for a long time now. Most people around here just call us Visakha Dairy. It’s a busy place starting very early in the morning when the trucks come in. We work with a lot of milk producers from the surrounding areas and the whole operation is pretty straightforward but there is always something going on. The gates open before the sun is up and the staff gets to work handling the milk that comes from the farmers. It is a big responsibility to handle something like milk every single day without any breaks. The building is right there on the main road and easy to find if you are looking for it. We have got a lot of people working here in different sections from the unloading docks to the packaging areas. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the machinery and the trucks moving around but that is just how it is when you are dealing with fresh dairy products that need to go out quickly. We see the same faces every day and everyone knows their job. It isn't a fancy office job where we sit behind desks all day. Most of the time we are on our feet making sure things are moving as they should be. The weather gets hot here but the work doesn't stop because the cows don't stop giving milk. We just keep the routine going day in and day out.
