You can find Coastal Trawlers Limited over at 15-1-37/3 on Nowroji Road in Maharani Peta. We’ve been operating from this side of town for a good many years. Being in Maharani Peta means we’re close to where a lot of the action is. The office isn't anything to write home about, just some desks and a lot of paperwork piled up. We deal with the trawlers and the fishing side of things, so there’s always a lot of coordination involved. Sometimes the boats are delayed, and then everything gets pushed back, which can be frustrating. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to the crews when they come in. It’s a lot of logistical stuff that most people don't think about. The building on Nowroji Road gets a lot of sun in the afternoon, so it stays pretty warm inside. We have some fans going, but they just move the hot air around. We aren't a big corporate office with suits; we’re more about getting the ships out and making sure the catch is handled. Some of us have been working here since we were young. We’ve seen the fishing industry change quite a bit, with new rules and all that. But Coastal Trawlers Limited just keeps going day by day. We don’t make big promises, we just try to keep the operations running as smoothly as possible despite the weather and the tides.
