Coastal Fibres

Coastal Fibres is situated in Balaji Towers, specifically at No. 401. We are right across from the YMCA on Beach Road, which is a very easy way to tell people how to find us. Since we are so close to the ocean, the air always smells like salt, and you can see the people walking along the beach if you look out the main window. The building itself is quite busy with other offices, so the elevator is usually full in the mornings. We deal with various types of fibres, mostly for industrial and textile use, and the office is often cluttered with small bundles of samples. It is a bit of a squeeze when we get a new shipment of catalogs or samples, but we manage to keep things organized enough to find what we need. The office has been our home base for several years now, and we have grown used to the sounds of the traffic on Beach Road. During the festival seasons, the whole area gets very crowded, and it takes us twice as long to get to work. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and a few photos of the family. Most of our work is done over the phone or through email, so it is a relatively quiet place during the day. We take turns bringing in snacks to share during the afternoon slump, and we usually close up right as the sun starts to go down.
