Soda Hut

Soda Hut is situated at 505 Kirlampudi Layout, right near Chinna Waltair. We are lucky to be close to Beach Road and Paanduranga Puram because we get a nice breeze from the ocean most evenings. The shop itself is a modest space where we keep our equipment and stock. Most of our customers are locals from the layout or people taking a walk down toward the water. We spend a lot of our time organizing the inventory and making sure the CO2 tanks are swapped out on time. It is a simple business, and we like keeping it that way. We don't have a lot of employees, just a couple of us who know how to run the machines and handle the cash. The area is quite nice, and we enjoy being part of the community here. You can usually find us at the shop from mid-morning until late evening. We don't have a website or any of that stuff; we just rely on people seeing our sign when they drive past. The machines can be a bit loud when they are running full tilt, but that's just the sound of work. We keep the floor swept and the bottles lined up. It’s not a complicated life, but it keeps us busy and we get to see the ocean every day. That’s enough for us to keep going.
