Sagar Badiger Sugars is located up at 36-34-62 in Yesvath Hills. It is a bit out of the way, but that works fine for the kind of business we do. We deal with sugar, mostly buying and selling in bulk for the local market. The hills are a nice place to be because it stays a little cooler than the main town down below. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place where we can store the bags and keep them dry. We have a small office space where we handle the invoices and talk to the suppliers. I spend a lot of my time making sure the trucks are loaded correctly and that the bags aren't damaged. It’s a lot of physical work, and you end up with sugar dust on everything you wear. My family has been involved in this for a while, so we know the trade pretty well. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. Most of our customers are people we have known for years who trust us to give them a fair price. If you are driving up through Yesvath Hills, you can find us if you look for the specific plot number. We don't have a big neon sign out front. It’s just a practical business run by people who know the local area. We stay until the work is finished and the last truck has been sent on its way.
