Liberty Frozen Foods is located over in the A' Block of the Auto Nagar industrial area. If you’ve ever been to Auto Nagar, you know it’s a lot of noise, dust, and heavy vehicles. Our facility is a big, solid building designed to keep the cold in. Inside, the temperature is always low because of the freezers, which is quite a jump from the humid Vizag weather outside. We spend our days moving between the heat of the loading docks and the freezing air of the storage rooms. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and checking temperatures on the gauges. The office part is just a few rooms near the front entrance where we keep the records. It’s usually pretty busy with drivers coming in to get their papers signed. The staff wears heavy jackets even when it’s boiling outside. We’ve been in this part of the I.D.A. for a long time, so we know the other business owners around here. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy furniture or carpets. Everything is concrete and metal because that’s what lasts in this kind of environment. We focus on getting the food frozen and shipped out without too much fuss. There’s always a machine humming somewhere in the background, and the smell of the refrigeration units is just part of the everyday environment. It’s a straightforward, hardworking place where we just get things done.
