Over in Nelavoy Village, at the address 3-15-24, is where S N J Sugars & Products Ltd. is located. Being in Sr Puram Mandal means we are surrounded by a lot of quiet space, but inside the gates, it stays quite busy. We deal with sugar and other related products, so there is always a lot of heavy lifting and moving bags around. The village life is slow, but our work schedule doesn't always feel that way. We have workers coming in from nearby areas early in the morning. The machinery makes a decent amount of noise, which is just part of the daily routine here. We spend a lot of time looking at the inventory and making sure everything is stored properly so nothing spoils or gets ruined by the weather. It gets quite hot in this part of the country, especially during the middle of the day, so we try to get the hardest physical stuff done before the sun is right overhead. The office side of things is just a few desks and some old filing cabinets. We aren't trying to be some big corporate office; we just want to get the sugar processed and moved out to where it needs to go. There’s always some maintenance to do on the equipment or the building itself since things wear down. We just take it one day at a time here in Nelavoy.
