Rishikesh Marble & Granite is located at D.No.65-4-38 in Pilakavaniplm. If you know the Malkapuram area, it’s not too hard to find. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while, dealing with all kinds of marble and granite slabs. It’s a bit of a dusty environment, but that’s how it goes when you’re working with stone all day. We have a lot of stock piled up in the back. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to move, but we manage. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or homeowners who are just looking for something that won't break the bank. We aren't some big corporate office with air conditioning everywhere; it’s mostly just us in the warehouse. My brother and I handle most of the day-to-day stuff. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. The stones come in from different places, and we spend time sorting through them to see what’s good. It’s heavy work, and by the end of the day, we’re usually pretty worn out. We don’t have any fancy brochures or anything like that. People just come in, look at the slabs, and decide if they like the patterns. It's straightforward. We keep the gates open during the day, and someone is usually around to help if you have questions about the different stones we have sitting out. It’s a long day, but it’s our trade.
