Prabhakar Rice Shop

Prabhakar Rice Shop is tucked away in the Chandralok Complex, specifically at 56/2/1. We’re right on Stella College Road in K P Nagar. It’s a lively area, especially with the college students walking by all the time. Our shop isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of space to stack the rice bags. We have everything from the everyday stuff to the nicer grains people use for special meals. Usually, it’s just one or two of us behind the counter. We spend a lot of time answering questions about which rice is best for what dish. The complex can get quite crowded in the afternoons, and the noise from the road is always there in the background. We’ve worked hard to keep this place going, even when things get a bit tight. It’s not a polished store with bright lights; it’s more of a practical place where you get what you need and maybe have a quick chat. We see a lot of regular faces from the apartments nearby. Dealing with heavy sacks means we’re always on our feet, but we don’t mind the work. Sometimes we have to rearrange the whole shop just to fit a new shipment in. It’s just how we run things here in K P Nagar. We like being part of the daily routine for the folks living along Stella College Road. The hours are long, but seeing familiar people come back makes it worthwhile for us.
