Myne Rice Mill

The machines at Myne Rice Mill make a lot of noise, so you can usually hear us before you see us. We are located at 3-19-86 on the Main Road in Mangalavaripeta. It is a busy stretch of road and we are right in the middle of it. The floor is always covered in a fine layer of dust from the processing, no matter how much we sweep it up. We have been at this address for a long time. The building is old and shows its age, but it holds everything we need. Trucks come and go from the Main Road, dropping off loads or picking things up. We spend our days checking the equipment and making sure nothing breaks down. It is hot work, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the roof. The address 3-19-86 is a familiar spot for the local farmers around Mangalavaripeta. We do not have fancy signs or a big lobby. It is just a working mill with heavy doors and a lot of grit. We keep the registers and the scales near the front. People walk in through the big gate and we get straight to it. It is a simple life of hard work and staying busy. You get used to the smell of the grain and the sound of the belts turning. We just stay here and do what needs doing every single day. The work is steady and that is all we really want.
