Our office is located at Flat 204 in Simhadri Residency, which is on Plot 62 in the Chandana Puri Layout. We are right in the Prahladhapuram area of Visakhapatnam. It’s a residential-style building, so it feels a bit more like a home than a stiff office. We do a lot of work related to public health here. It involves a lot of reading, writing reports, and sitting around the big table in the main room talking about data. We aren't a big hospital or a clinic; it's more of a place where the research and the planning happen. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is good for when we need to concentrate. We’ve got a small kitchen where we make tea several times a day to keep us going. Most of us have been working in health for years and just ended up here in Vizag. We don't have fancy signs outside, just the one on the door so people know they’re in the right place. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs to the second floor. It’s just a regular workplace with regular people trying to figure out health trends and statistics. We don't use big medical jargon when we talk to each other; we just try to keep things clear and simple. It’s a steady kind of job and we like the location because it is away from the main city noise.
