Hooghly Mills Projects Limited, Unit : East Coast Jute Mill

Over at Kanapaka on Aguru Street you will find the East Coast Jute Mill which is a unit of Hooghly Mills Projects Limited. This is in the Vizianagaram District of Andhra Pradesh and it has been a fixture here for a long time. Jute work is not easy and it involves a lot of manual effort and machines running most of the day. The air is often filled with the smell of raw fibers and the sounds of the mill working.
