Indian Navy

This office is located at Flat No. R-8D in the Sri Vijay Nagar Colony, which is in the 104 Area of Marripalem, Visakhapatnam. Being in a residential colony means it’s a pretty quiet environment most of the time. The flat itself is a standard layout. We’ve converted the main rooms into working spaces for the Indian Navy's local administrative needs. There are no big signs or military guards at the door here. It’s a low-key spot. We have some desks pushed against the walls and a few filing cabinets that are probably older than some of the staff. The windows look out over the colony, and you can see people going about their daily lives. We handle a lot of paperwork and coordination from this flat. It’s not the kind of place that would impress a visitor looking for a high-tech naval base. It’s more of a functional, practical space where we can sit down and get things organized. The lighting is just regular fluorescent tubes, and the floor is simple tile. We usually have the fans going full speed because it gets quite humid in Vizag. We don't have a formal reception, so we just shout to each other when someone is at the door. It’s a simple way of working, but it gets the job done for us in Marripalem. We just stick to our routine and make sure the records are updated every day.
