Being located in the VSEZ in Duvvada means we have to go through the security gates every single day. Our workspace is down in the cellar of SDF4, so we don't get much of a view of the outside world while we are working. It stays a bit cooler down there though, which is a nice relief from the Vizag heat. The lighting is all artificial, so sometimes you lose track of time until it’s time to head home. We have rows of workstations and a lot of fabric samples hanging around on various racks. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, except for the hum of the air conditioning system. We’ve been in this cellar space for a while now, and we’ve figured out how to make the most of every square inch. The commute to Duvvada can be a bit long for some of the staff, but the train station isn't too far away. We usually spend our breaks walking around the zone just to get some sunlight and fresh air. There are a lot of other companies in this building, so you see the same faces in the corridors and the lift. Everything is very functional here, with gray walls and tiled floors that are easy to keep clean. We just show up, do our hours, and make sure the apparel is handled correctly before it gets shipped out of the zone. It’s just the way we operate in this industrial setting.
