Lakshmi Srinivasa Printing Binding Works

We’ve been here at the Sri Surya Junction for quite a while now. If you head down Dondaparthy Akkayapalem Road, you’ll find us right near No. 43 - 30- 34. It’s usually pretty loud inside because the machines are always running. There is always that smell of fresh ink and paper in the air, which I guess you just get used to after a few days. We do a lot of bookbinding and printing work for the people around here. Sometimes it’s just a few pages for a student, and other times it is a whole stack of registers that need a hard cover. The floor is usually covered in little bits of trimmed paper by the end of the afternoon. We spend a lot of time making sure the edges are straight and the glue is dried properly before anyone picks them up. It’s a messy job sometimes with the ink getting on our hands, but that is just how it goes. People come in and out all day, mostly locals who need something done quickly. We don’t have a big fancy office, just the work tables and the heavy machinery that we’ve had for years. It gets pretty busy during the school season when everyone needs their notes bound. We try to keep things organized but with so much paper everywhere, it can be a bit of a scramble. Anyway, that’s mostly what goes on here at Lakshmi Srinivasa Printing Binding Works.
