Aspinwall & Co Ltd

Being out here at World Trade Avenue in the Harbour Estate means we get a lot of that salt air coming off the water. Aspinwall & Co Ltd has been at this A-11 spot for quite some time. It's a bit of a trek for some people to find us, but once you’re in the estate, it’s not too bad. The office isn't anything like those glass towers you see in the movies. It’s a practical space where we handle all the logistics and paperwork that comes with this kind of work. You can hear the cranes and the ships if the windows are open, which they usually are because the breeze helps with the heat. We’ve got a couple of old fans that have seen better days but they still spin. Most days are spent on the phone or staring at spreadsheets. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp. The floors are a bit scuffed from years of people walking back and forth, and the filing cabinets are definitely full. It’s a busy environment but not in a frantic way, more of a steady hum. We know the security guards at the gate and the delivery drivers who come by every afternoon. It’s just a regular workplace where we get the job done. No one wears fancy suits here unless there’s a big meeting, which doesn't happen too often. We’re just part of the harbor landscape.
