Loop Computers

Loop Computers is located right near the Narsimhanagar Rythu Bazaar in Akkayyapalem. Because we are so close to the market, it’s always busy outside our door. You can hear the vegetable sellers and the traffic all day long. Inside the shop, things are usually a bit cramped because we have stacks of old monitors, keyboards, and laptops waiting to be looked at. It’s a small space, and we try to keep it organized, but when people are dropping off computers every hour, the counter gets full pretty fast. We spend most of our time with screwdrivers in our hands, taking things apart and trying to figure out why they stopped working. It is a lot of dusty work because computers seem to collect a lot of dirt over time. We don't have a fancy waiting area; most people just drop their stuff off and come back later after they finish their shopping at the Rythu Bazaar. Sometimes we stay late when there is a difficult repair that needs to get done by the next morning. It’s just how it is in Akkayyapalem. The light in the shop isn't the best, so we use these little desk lamps to see what we are doing on the circuit boards. We’ve been at this spot for a good while, and we’ve seen all kinds of broken tech come through the door. It’s steady work and we like being part of the local market atmosphere.
