Gangavaram(A) Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are located at 1-13, Market Street, in the old part of Gangavaram, which people call Patha Gangavaram. It’s right in the Gangavaram Mandal in East Godavari, 533284. This is a farmers' company, so it’s basically just a bunch of us from the nearby fields coming together. We use the space on Market Street to organize what we grow and how we sell it. It gets very busy on market days with all the noise and the people walking by. Our office isn’t much to look at, just a sturdy place where we can store our papers and meet up. We talk about the crops, the rain, and the prices. There’s no big boss in a suit here. We all just pitch in and try to make the collective work. Sometimes we disagree on things, but that’s just how it goes when you have a lot of farmers in one room. The East Godavari soil is good, but the work is still hard. We spend more time in the dirt than in the office. This company is just a way for us to have a bit more control over our own lives. We aren't looking to be famous or huge. We just want to make sure the families here can keep farming. It’s a very practical arrangement born out of necessity.
