Gokul Enterprise

We are located out in Varisaiiyour, Veeracholan. It’s a bit of a distance if you’re coming from the bigger towns, but we like the pace of life here. This enterprise has been our main focus for quite some years now. We handle a bit of everything that the local folks in this area might need. The building we work out of is very simple and we don’t spend much time worrying about how it looks to outsiders. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking on the stock we have in the back. Living and working in a place like Veeracholan means you pretty much know everyone who walks through the door, which is nice. You can't really hide if you make a mistake or do a bad job, so we just try to be fair and get the work done right. The heat gets a bit much in the afternoons during the summer, so we usually take a bit of a break then and start again when it cools off. We’ve seen the area change a little bit over the years, but our way of doing things stays the same. It’s just about being reliable for the people who depend on us. We don’t have a website or any fancy marketing, just our physical shop. People know where we are and what we do by word of mouth mostly. It’s a plain business for plain people. We get the supplies in, sort them out, and get them to whoever bought them. It’s a steady rhythm.
