Sri Dharaani Steel

Our yard is located right on the main road between Sivakasi and Virudhunagar. Specifically, we are in the Thiruthangal area. If you are driving down that road, you can't really miss our place. It is a long stretch of road and it gets a lot of heavy truck traffic day and night. We are at number 060 / 463. The sun really beats down on us out here in this part of the state. It makes the steel quite hot to touch by midday. We have a good group of workers who don't seem to mind the heat much though. We have been here for a while and seen the road get much busier every year. Sivakasi is a very busy town and being on the way to Virudhunagar puts us right in the middle of all the action. We don't have a lot of fancy office equipment or computers. We prefer to spend our money on the tools we actually use for the steel. The office is just a small room where we keep the ledger and take a quick break. Most of the day is spent outside under the sky. We have a lot of space which is good because the piles of steel can get pretty high and take up room. We try to keep things tidy but it is a constant battle with the red dust. People stop by all the time asking for directions or just checking on things. We don't mind. It is part of the job.
