Gowrihouse Metal Works

Gowrihouse Metal Works is our shop at No. 1/3 in Malaiyadipatti. It’s a place where we spend our days surrounded by iron, steel, and the smell of grease. We’ve been doing metal work here for quite a few years. It’s a noisy environment with the sound of hammers and saws going almost all the time, but we’re used to it. We make all sorts of things, from simple window grills to larger parts for local construction projects. We don't have a fancy showroom or a website with pretty pictures. Most of our work comes from people in the area who know what we do. They bring us a sketch or an old part that needs replacing, and we figure out how to make it. Our hands are usually dirty, and the floor is covered in metal shavings, but that’s just how a workshop should be. Malaiyadipatti is a small enough place that everyone knows everyone else, so we make sure to do a solid job on every piece that leaves the shop. We use machines that have been around for a long time, and we know exactly how they behave. There are just a few of us working here, and we don't worry about being a big company. We just care about the work itself and making sure it’s strong and functional. It’s a steady, hard-working life, and we are quite content with it.
