Seventh Day Adventist Matricualtion Higher Secondary School

Our school sits right on Mallaginar Road in Virudhunagar. It is a place where we spend most of our waking hours. If you walk by in the morning, you will see the gates are always open for the students. We have been here for a good while now, and the building has seen a lot of different classes come and go. It is a matriculation school, so the curriculum keeps us all pretty busy throughout the year. The teachers here are not just staff; they are people who have lived in this town for years. We know the families and the kids quite well. Some of the desks are getting old, and the playground could use some more grass, but it works fine for us. We focus on the daily stuff like math, science, and languages. There is no big secret to how we run things. We just show up, do the work, and hope the kids get something out of it. Virudhunagar is a quiet enough place, and our corner of it stays active with the sounds of bells and kids shouting during their break time. We do not put up big posters or try to act like we are something we are not. It is just a school where learning happens in a very normal way. The hallways are narrow, and it gets warm in the afternoons, but that is just part of being here. We take things one day at a time.
