Arasan Model School

You can find Arasan Model School right on the Sivakasi Virudhunagar Main Road. Being in Thiruthangal means we get a lot of that main road traffic passing by, but once you step inside, it’s all about the kids. Sivakasi is a busy town, known for its industries, and we sit right in the middle of that energy. The school building has been part of this landscape for a bit now. We have students coming in from all the nearby villages and the main town area too. It’s a lot of logistics, keeping track of the buses and making sure everyone arrives on time. The staff here are mostly local people who grew up around these parts. We don't go in for anything too decorative; it’s a functional place where desks are lined up and blackboards are used every day. Some days are hotter than others, especially in this part of Tamil Nadu, so we try to keep the rooms as airy as we can. It’s a noisy, lively place when the students are on break. We just focus on the basics here. No one is trying to be fancy. We just want to make sure the school is open and the teachers are ready when the kids show up at the gate. It’s steady work, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the school year, from the rainy days to the big exam months. We just do our bit.
