Asma Matriculation School

Our school is located in Asma Nagar Veeracholan, which is a part of Virudhunagar. It’s a quiet area mostly, away from the big city noise. Asma Matriculation School is a place where we all know each other. The building is simple and serves its purpose for the students who come from the local surroundings. In the mornings, you can see the kids walking down the dusty roads to reach the gate. We have classrooms that are basic but have everything needed for the day’s work. There is a lot of chalk dust and the sound of desks moving around. The teachers here are mostly locals, so we understand the families and the children well. During the break, the smell of sambar and rice fills the air from the lunch boxes. It’s a very local feel here. We don’t have massive fancy facilities, but the playground gets used every single day. The sun is quite strong in this part of Tamil Nadu, so we try to keep the kids in the shade when possible. We spend a lot of time on the paperwork required by the board. It is just a regular school life, nothing too complicated. We focus on the books and making sure the students pass their exams. Sometimes things are a bit unorganized, but we manage to get through the day and start again the next morning. It’s just how we do things here in our little town.
