Our place is at 60-B on Chidambaranar Street. It’s a narrow street but it’s always busy with people coming and going. We’ve been here at this address for quite a while now. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of whatever we’re making that day. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us handling the food prep and the packaging. We don’t have any massive machines or assembly lines. It’s mostly hand work and making sure everything is clean. The kitchen area takes up most of the space, so there isn’t much room for a proper office. We usually just have a small table where we keep the ledger and the phone. Sometimes the heat from the cooking makes the whole building feel warm, especially in the summer months. We keep the back door open to get a bit of a breeze. Our neighbors are all local shops and families, so it feels like a real community. We aren't trying to be some huge brand you see on TV. We just like making food products right here on Chidambaranar Street. Most days we are busy from early morning until the evening. When the sun starts to set, we clean everything up and get ready to do it all again tomorrow. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy and the neighborhood fed.
