Nadar Nursery & Primary School

Our little school is tucked away on 7th Main in the Andar Bazar area of Watrap. It’s a busy little neighborhood, and we are right in the thick of it. Since we mostly have nursery and primary kids, the mornings are full of energy and sometimes a bit of crying when the toddlers first arrive. We’ve been here for years, and we know almost every family that walks past our gate. The building is small and cozy, just right for the younger children. We have some colorful drawings on the walls and plenty of small chairs. It’s not a fancy place with high-tech gadgets; we mostly use books, charts, and a lot of patience. The teachers here are like family, and we’ve been working together for a long time. We spend our days teaching the basics, like the alphabet and numbers, and making sure the kids eat their lunch. Watrap can be a noisy place with the market nearby, but we’ve gotten used to the sounds of the street. Sometimes we have to shoo away a stray dog from the entrance, but that’s just life in Andar Bazar. We don't have a big mission statement or anything. We just want the kids to learn a few things and be happy while they’re here. It’s a simple life, and we are proud to be part of this community. Every day is different, but the goal is always just to get through the lessons.
