Mitra Pre School

Mitra Pre School is tucked away at 7A/2 Bharathi Nagar in the Sudharsan Garden area of Rajapalayam. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood, which is nice because it keeps the traffic noise away from the children. We have a small building that used to be a house, so it feels quite cozy inside. There are some mats on the floor and posters of animals and alphabets on the walls. The little kids spend their mornings here playing with blocks and learning their first few songs. We have a small area outside with a slide that’s seen better days, but the kids still love it. Most of our staff live within walking distance, so we all know each other well. Parents usually drop by for a chat when they come to pick up their toddlers. It’s not a big institution, just a local spot for early learning. We don't use fancy technology or anything, just books, crayons, and toys. Sometimes the kids get cranky and we have to deal with some crying, but that’s just life in a pre-school. We try to keep things organized, though with three-year-olds, that’s almost impossible. It’s a simple, honest place for the families in Virudhunagar to send their little ones for a few hours every day. We enjoy seeing them figure out how to write their names for the first time before they head home for their afternoon naps.
