Maheswari Nursery & Primary School

Our school is right here in Periyar Nagar, Alangulam. If you know the 3/537 block, that’s exactly where Maheswari Nursery & Primary School is. It’s a quiet enough spot in Virudhunagar for the younger kids to learn. We have some classrooms for the nursery children and others for the primary grades. It isn't a massive building, just a regular place where local families send their kids. You can hear the children playing during the breaks. The morning starts early here with parents dropping off their little ones on bikes or walking them to the gate. We’ve got some colorful drawings on the walls that the kids did. It’s nothing fancy, just a local school doing its thing. The teachers are mostly from around here, so everyone knows each other's names. We try to keep things organized but with kids around, it’s always a bit noisy and busy. We have some benches outside and a small area for them to run. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. Sometimes the gate squeaks a bit when people come in. Most of the families around Alangulam have been coming to us for years. It’s just a part of the neighborhood life. We don't have big billboards or anything. Just a sign at the front and word of mouth from the neighbors who live on the same street as us.
