Mohana Traders

Mohana Traders is tucked away over at 3/14-5 on Guru Nathan Kovil Street. Palayampatti is a quiet enough place, but our street can get a bit tight when we have goods coming in. We started this as a small trading business and that’s pretty much what it still is. We handle different kinds of items depending on what’s needed. Our office is just a small room with a desk and some ledgers. We don't use much fancy software; mostly we just write things down and keep track of who owes what. It’s a lot of talking to people on the phone and meeting with suppliers. Some days we have a lot to move, and other days we’re just waiting for the next shipment. We’ve lived in this area for a long time, so we know most of our customers by name. We don't do any big advertising. Word of mouth usually gets people to Guru Nathan Kovil Street if they need something. The building itself is nothing special, just a sturdy place to keep our stock dry and safe. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the ropes. It works for us. We like being part of the local scene here in Palayampatti. It's honest work and it keeps the lights on. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just trade goods and keep moving forward every single day.
