Devi Offset Printers. We operate out of 2/442, A1, on Vishwanatham Road. It’s a busy spot, and you can usually hear our printing machines running from the street. The shop is full of the smell of ink and the sound of paper being cut and folded. At Devi Offset Printers, we spend most of our time standing around the presses or checking the colors on the latest print run. The floors are often stained with different colored inks, no matter how much we scrub them. We have stacks of paper everywhere, from thin sheets to heavy cardstock. It gets quite warm in the back where the machines are, so we keep the doors open to let in a breeze from Vishwanatham Road. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. Customers just walk in and talk to us while we work. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon getting our hands greasy fixing them. We do all sorts of jobs, like wedding cards and local flyers. Our desks are covered in rulers, pens, and half-finished proofs. It’s a small, family-style business where everyone chips in to help with the packing. We don't have a big corporate strategy; we just try to get the prints out on time so the customers are happy. It’s honest work and we like seeing the finished products stacked up. The noise of the press is just part of our daily life here.
