Vishwanath Trading

We are tucked away in Shop No 15 of the Laxmi Niwas Building. That is located on Veer Savarkar Marg over in Virar East. It is fairly easy to find because the old rice mill is just a little way down the road. Trading is what we do here, which basically means we buy and sell all sorts of different things throughout the week. The shop itself is quite small and usually filled up with cardboard boxes and old ledgers. We spend a lot of our time on the phone talking to various suppliers and customers. Virar East has grown quite a lot lately, and there is always something happening on Veer Savarkar Marg. The noise from the traffic outside is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We start our day by opening up the heavy metal shutters and checking to see what needs to be sent out. The rice mill nearby brings a lot of people to this street, so we get some foot traffic from that too. It involves a lot of paperwork and keeping track of all the numbers in our books. We do not have a website or anything modern like that. People just know our shop number and come by when they need to settle a deal. My brother and I run the entire place ourselves. We do not always agree on everything, but we make it work.
