Sri Choula Travels

Our office is on Auroville Main Road in Kuilapalayam. We’re right opposite Purple Restaurant, so most people use that as a landmark to find us. Being in the Auroville area means we see a lot of different people from all over the place every single day. We mostly handle travel needs, whether it's local taxis or longer trips out of Pondicherry. The office is a simple one, with just enough room for us to work and a few chairs for visitors to sit in. It gets a bit dusty because of the road traffic, but we try to keep it tidy enough. We don’t have a big website or a call center. It’s just us answering the phone and writing things down in our ledger. We’ve been in Kuilapalayam for a good while now and know the area like the back of our hands. If someone needs a ride or a ticket, they just come by and we see what we can do to help. It’s a very casual atmosphere. We might be chatting with a neighbor one minute and booking a trip the next. We don't put on any airs or graces. It’s a straightforward business and we just try to keep things moving. The weather here can be quite hot, so we usually have the fan going full blast all day long. It’s just a regular local travel shop doing its best for the people around here.
