If you’re looking for Sri Venkatadurga Engineering Works, we’re located at 12-4-19 on Shaik Ummer Street in Tarapet. This part of town is pretty narrow, and Shaik Ummer Street can be quite a squeeze when there’s a lot of traffic. Our workshop is right there, and you can usually hear the sound of welding or metal cutting if you’re passing by. We started this place with just a few basic tools and have stayed at this same address ever since. It’s a local operation, run by people who live nearby and understand the trade. We don't have a big front office or any fancy reception area. You basically just walk into the workspace and find someone who isn't too busy to talk. The floor is usually covered in dust and metal scraps, which is just part of the job. We’ve fixed a lot of things over the years for the people around here. It’s not always easy work, and some days are long, but we like the challenge of figuring out how to make something work again. We don't put much stock in corporate titles or formal meetings. We’d rather be at the bench with a wrench or a torch in our hands. Tarapet is a busy place, and we’ve become a small part of the landscape here on this street. It’s just how we live and work every day and we hope to keep at it.
