Chaturya Engineering Works

We've been at 5-636-4 in Dhammakkapeta for a while now. It's mostly just metal work and fixing things that people bring in. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded when we have a few big projects going at once. We handle basic engineering tasks, welding, and getting parts to fit where they need to go. There isn't a fancy office here. Most of the time we are covered in grease or dust from the machines. If you walk down the street, you’ll probably hear the noise before you see the sign. It’s honest work and we try to get things done when we say we will, though sometimes parts take a day or two longer to arrive than we'd like. We have some older lathes and drills that still run better than the new ones. People around here know us for just getting on with it. We don’t spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty on paper. It’s more about the physical work and making sure the metal holds up. If something breaks on a tractor or a piece of industrial gear, we take a look and see if it can be salvaged. Usually, it can. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines running for whoever needs help in the neighborhood. We are usually here from early morning until the light starts to fade. It is just the way we like to work.
