Our office is at Dno 75 2 1 4B in Bhavanipuram. It’s the Out Agency building in Vijayawada. The heat here in the summer is something else. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and drawings spread out on the big table. Ratna Infrastructure Projects Pvt Ltd isn't some huge company with a lobby. It’s just a few rooms filled with files and calculators. We have a window that looks out towards the main road. You can see the construction going on nearby. It feels like the whole city is growing. We usually start the day early before it gets too hot to move. There’s always someone coming in with a report or a bill that needs checking. We have a small cooler for water that everyone uses. The walls are white and a bit plain but we have some project photos pinned up. Sometimes we have to drive out to the sites, which takes up most of the day. When we are in the office, it’s mostly quiet except for the phones. We know the other businesses in Bhavanipuram quite well. We often share a meal or a tea at the place across the street. It’s a practical way of working. We don't have time for fancy stuff. We just want to make sure the projects are moving along. It’s just us doing our jobs in Vijayawada. We don't need a fancy name or a big sign to show what we do for the city.
