Omsai Uma Devi Computer Institute

My name is Chnagavalli C Ochkrishana Rao and I run the Omsai Uma Devi Computer Institute. We are located at Dno 32 13 53 101A, right at the Sunnapubattila Centre here in Vijayawada 10. It is a very busy spot with lots of people passing by. We have some computers set up for people to learn on. It is not the biggest place in the world, but we make it work for everyone who comes in. Most of our students are from the nearby neighborhoods and schools. We teach basic computer stuff that people need for their jobs or just for their own use at home. Vijayawada is a fast growing city, so knowing how to use a computer is getting more important every day. The office is usually full of the sound of typing and people asking questions about how to use different software. Sometimes we have issues with the power, but that is just life here and we deal with it. We try to keep the chairs comfortable because people sit for a long time while they practice. It is a very simple setup. We do not have a fancy website or anything, just the institute name on a board outside the door. I spend most of my day here making sure the machines are running and helping out where I can. The Sunnapubattila Centre is easy for people to get to by bus or auto. We have been helping people learn for a while now.
