You can find us at Plot No.40-1-118/2. We are right opposite Jyothi Mahal and near the Benz showroom in Labbipet. It’s a very easy spot to find because everyone knows the landmarks around here. At Meena Steels, the sound of metal clanging is something you get used to pretty quickly. We have large stacks of steel rods and sheets taking up most of the space on the plot. It’s an outdoor kind of setup for the most part, so we are always at the mercy of the weather. When it’s hot, the sun reflects off the metal and it gets really warm in the small office cabin we have. We spend our time measuring lengths and weighing loads for the trucks that come in. Labbipet is a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of movement around the plot. We have a small crew that helps with the heavy lifting and loading. It’s tiring work, and by the end of the day, everyone is usually covered in a bit of rust and grime. We don’t have any fancy sales pitch; people just come to us because they know we are here and we have what they need in stock. We keep a ledger to track what goes out and what comes in. It’s a basic business, but steel is something people always need for building things, so we stay busy enough.
