Ganesh Cement Tiles

Our yard in Machilipatnam is usually dusty from all the cement we use. We are located at 5/5 Inukudru Pet and we’ve been making tiles here for a while now. It’s heavy work, lifting the molds and setting them out to dry under the sun. We make regular cement tiles that people use for their walkways or small courtyards. It is not glamorous stuff, just solid things that last. The guys here have rough hands from the grit and the water we use to mix everything. We have a routine that starts early before the sun gets too high and makes the cement set too fast. Some customers come from quite far away while others are just neighbors fixing up their front porch. We don't have a big showroom with lights, just the stacks of finished tiles sitting in the yard waiting to be picked up. Sometimes the edges aren't perfectly smooth, but they do the job they are supposed to do. We just keep making them one by one. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on for everyone here. I spend a lot of time checking the stock and talking to the truck drivers who come to load up the orders. We don't use fancy computers for much, just a notebook to keep track of who owes what and what is going out. It stays busy enough for us to stay here and keep the business going year after year.
