We've been at the Ratna Complex on M.G. Road for quite a while now. Our spot is G-12, right across from the Pwd Grounds and near Kalyan Jewellery. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise and traffic outside. The morning usually starts with opening up the shutters and checking what needs to be printed or fixed from the day before. We aren’t a big, polished agency with fancy offices. It’s just a small workspace filled with rolls of vinyl, some computers, and the smell of ink. Most days, we are busy handling small jobs for local shops or people walking in off the street. The sun hits the front window pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually keep the blinds halfway down to keep the heat out. We have a couple of desks that are always cluttered with rulers, tape, and scraps of paper. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where every tool is kept. Sometimes the printer acts up and we have to spend an hour messing with it, which can be frustrating. We try to get things done as quickly as we can without overcomplicating the process. It's a regular, hardworking shop and we like being part of the M.G. Road community. If you walk past, you’ll probably see us hunched over a desk or moving boards around to dry.
