Dl Krishna Sarees

You can find us on Eluru Road in Vijayawada, right near the Axis Bank ATM. It's a convenient spot because everyone knows where that ATM is. We have a lot of sarees packed into our shelves here. The shop stays quite busy because Eluru Road is one of those main arteries in the city. We spend our mornings dusting the glass counters and unfolding fabrics to show the patterns. It's a lot of manual work, moving the heavy bundles around every day. Sometimes the fans aren't enough when it gets really hot outside, but we manage. We aren't a big chain store, just a local place where we know many of the people who walk through the door. Usually, there's a bit of chatting going on along with the selling. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just the sarees themselves which provide all the color. If you're coming from the main junction, we aren't too far. The noise from the bikes and autos outside is constant, but it’s part of the day here. We keep things pretty simple. If someone wants a specific type of silk or cotton, we go through the stacks until we find it. It's honest work and keeps us on our toes. The shop floor is small, so we have to be organized, even if it looks a bit messy during the peak hours when everyone is looking at different pieces at once. We like the energy here.
